Founder of HypnoSlimming
HypnoSlimming was founded with one mission in mind. To help people achieve the body that they want and to appreciate and accept the body they have. Michael A Cox has been fascinated with hypnosis and it's techniques for more than 15 years.
He founded HypnoSlimming after seeing the desperation of people that were dissatisfied with their bodies to the extent that they would embark on a cycle of unsustainable fad diets and even, more worryingly, dangerous weight loss surgery. He has a degree in Psychology and studied with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis affiliated with the University of West London. Michael has completed specialist courses in the fields of NLP and Clinical Hypnosis. He has specialised in the field of weight loss and is familiar with cutting edge techniques such as:
Hypnotic Gastric Bands
Neuro Asscociative Conditioning
As the founding therapist Michael will host your initial consultation. You may be referred to alternative practitioners depending on your individual circumstances and goals.
Michael is accredited with the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) and is an Associate Member of the Association of Weight Loss Hypnotherapists.

Studies, Talks and Reports
Hypnosis had been proven in peer reviewed journals to be an effective tool at dealing with weight loss. The link below shows three scientific studies that where hypnosis was used compared to a control group to identify if there was a difference in success with helping people lose weight. The results speak for themselves.
Why diets DON'T work!
In the US, 80% of girls have been on a diet by the time they're 10 years old. In this honest, raw talk, neuroscientist Sandra Aamodt uses her personal story to frame an important lesson about how our brains manage our bodies, as she explores the science behind why dieting not only doesn't work, but is likely to do more harm than good.
Virtual Gastric Bands
Hypnotic or Virtual Gastric Bands have come a long way since they were introduced in about 2008. They create an unconscious belief that you are only interested in small portions creating a sensation of feeling full. During trance the suggestions are given which can change long term eating habits.
